This place has the perfect name Hometown Diner. You will feel welcomed like if you're in your Hometown. Great place for breakfast or quick bite for lunch. Family owned for 38 years. Clean place, friendly staff,good food, and very reasonable prices.Can't ask for more than that.Near The Sagamore if you want a change of pace..

Solid meal, friendly staff. We called ahead with our large group information and they had a table waiting for us on a busy Friday morning. I wish we didn't have to hunt for our host to get cups and glasses refilled, but I'm happy the food was good and the place was clean. I had a hard time finding the current number for the place so I've submitted a change and have uploaded copies of the menu. Stop in here - it's what you're looking for in a diner.

Been going for years Everytime we visit Lake George. Not impressed this time. Must have been an off day. Food we ok at best and sat forever waiting for our check. Will skip it next trip

The food has gone drastically downhill since the sale. Too bad, it used to be a decent meal. Pancakes were burnt and, were flatter than crepes, the bacon is cheap, fatty and, nasty, the scrambled eggs were tasteless, the coffee was terrible. We would go there every time we visited but, No more for me.

The advertised time of opening was 6:30 am. Got there at 6:40 am and it looks like it might be out of business. Very disappointing.

I give Hometown Diner 5 enthusiatic stars reluctantly. Too many people might find out about this great, true local-flavor place.

Went here for breakfast based on the Google reviews and had some cold home fries and a breakfast sandwich that was falling apart on arrival. Service was good, but definitely don't bother with the food.

Great service, mediocre food. I went there for biscuits and gravy, and they were sold out. They were also out of waffles and corned beef hash. But they were the only ones open, so that says something!

Corned beef hash going sour, ten frozen potatoes, burnt omelettes with nothing inside for 12 bucks...? Not sure what the other reviews are....but skip this place. Period. How do u screw up eggs and serve potentially make you sick food? Shame
